Seeking an experienced and dedicated cafe manager to oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Craigsfarm community cafe, which provides hot and cold food and drinks to customers. The cafe manager will be responsible for cooking and preparing food based on a limited menu and ensure that the cafe operates effectively. Must have experience with “epos now” system. • Oversee all aspects of daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures and inventory management. • To manage the Community Cafe volunteer team including recruiting, training and supporting cafe volunteers ensuring an appropriate skill mix. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and food handling guidelines. • Manage and maintain equipment, troubleshoot any issues, and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed. • Monitor and control expenses, such as food costs, staff costs, and other operational expenditures.
