Job Description:
• Undertake initial training on testing of soils, rock and aggregates
• Upon completion of training on a particular test undergo an audit on competence
• Undertake laboratory testing to relevant British and European Standards
• Complete daily checks of lab environment and record data
• Ensure all paperwork is submitted promptly and that it is legible
• Work competently under instruction from line management
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues and internal stakeholders
Experience And Qualifications:
A highly flexible attitude to work inc. the ability to work overtime
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
• A genuine interest in the materials testing industry
• Reasonable technical aptitude
• Good attention to detail
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft based products, Excel, and Word)
• Strong prioritisation and organisational skills
• Good timekeeping
• A team player who will use their initiative and put the requirements of the business first
