Cleaning

The successful applicant(s) will be trained to carry out Pressure Washing, Gutter Clearing, Roof Cleaning & Softwashing. We are seeking enthusiastic, fit, hands-on workers that enjoy working outdoors in all weathers, all year round. We are looking for candidates that have an eye for detail and that leave sites cleaner than when they arrived. A drivers licence is essential for this role and once fully trained, a company vehicle will be provided. You will be mainly working in a team with one other member of the company.

Independently and collaboratively maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and public areas Ability to finish a minimum of 10-12 rooms. Safe handling of cleaning chemicals Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Making beds and changing linens

Maintain high standards throughout the premises of the Craigsfarm Community ensuring the security and safe operation of the buildings. This is a physical role, leading and co-ordinating a small team of janitors and volunteers with basic maintenance, decorating, set up of equipment and the monitoring of environmental controls. -Planning the maintenance schedule of reactive and preventative maintenance work for the Hub and the annex building. -Planning the cleaning schedule, monitor effectiveness and workloads and undertake cleaning when janitors are on leave. -Sourcing relevant trades as required for repairs and maintenance and managing third party trades persons. -Assist with risk assessments and emergency audits. -Ensuring accurate records for equipment provided for safety, firefighting and safe evacuation. -Ensuring adequate and maintained site security, including alarms and CCTV.

Cleaning tasks to include general cleaning, toilet cleaning, window cleaning and other related tasks Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment provided by NIC & the Client Following the required specification to ensure all tasks are completed Following Health & Safety procedures Skills/Experience (Preferred But Not Essential): Capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the position. Good interpersonal skills providing a great service to the customer Focusing on a ‘one team’ approach assisting other service lines when required Following through with any issues identified Making sure personal appearance and uniform are as expected in line with your employee handbook
