Environmental Filtration Specialists (EFS)

Support from West Lothian Council’s Economic Development service has helped local business Environmental Filtration Specialists (EFS) achieve its growth goals.

Established in 2016, Environmental Filtration Specialists design, install and maintain dust control, fume and oil mist extraction systems and ductwork for customers throughout Scotland and in other parts of the UK.

The business has received a wide variety of support to help them achieve their growth goals over the years. This has included 1:1 guidance from their dedicated Business Gateway West Lothian Growth Adviser, David.

EFS have also received funding support, including the Digital Development Grant, which helps improve the digital capabilities of Scottish businesses; the Innovation Grant, which can be used towards a new product or service; and the Employment Pathway Grant (EPG), which has helps local businesses create job opportunities for West Lothian residents.  The Digital Development Grant and Innovation Grant are both part-funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The EFS leadership team also took part in our Leadership Bootcamp. Available through our Expert Help Programme, this bootcamp provides valuable training to management teams that want to improve productivity and efficiency.
