Join us for our brand-new workshop exclusively for West Lothian-based female entrepreneurs that are within their first 6 months of trading and want to build their business foundations.

This exciting one-day workshop will help participants understand their business finances, define their brand, create a clear marketing focus, and set actionable goals for their first year of trading. It will also give them the opportunity to connect with other likeminded local entrepreneurs and form a supportive network.

Topics covered during the workshop by our host Michelle Brown will include:

• Understanding the difference between cash flow, profit, and pricing
• Avoiding financial pitfalls for new businesses
• Setting simple financial goals for your first year
• Clarifying your brand value and target audience
•  Building a focused, low-cost marketing approach
• Picking the right marketing channels for your business
• Low-cost, high-impact content ideas

Participants will leave the workshop with an improved understanding of how to successfully navigate the first year of business, a clear and actionable 90-day action plan to drive success, and increased confidence in themselves and their businesses.

This is part of our West Lothian Women in Entrepreneurship project. Participants that complete the workshop will have the opportunity to apply for our West Lothian Women in Entrepreneurship Programme once they have been trading for one year.

This is free to attend and is recommended for business owners that have been trading for between 0 – 6 months.
