Pump It Up School Challenge - The Final 2026

Local employer Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning System Europe have challenged all secondary schools in West Lothian to design an innovative use of a heat pump.

Over 1500 pupils have taken part in the challenge, with a team from each school being put forward to take part in the final ceremony where they will present their ideas to the judges and guests. The Consul General of Japan will announce the overall winners on the night.

The Challenge, now in its 10th year, the aim of the initiative is to further integrate industry and schools with the aim to support young people in developing skills beneficial to their future

The West Lothian Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to come along and show your support for our young people who are the workforce of the future.
