The Business Gateway West Lothian team have announced the return of their popular ‘Simplifying the Business Start Up Process’ event for local residents that are thinking of starting, or have recently started, a business in the area.

The event is taking place on Thursday, the 25th of September, at Blackburn Partnership Centre, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. It is free to attend and all West Lothian residents are welcome.

During the event, Business Advisers will be highlighting the wide range of support that is available to help aspiring entrepreneurs successfully launch their dream businesses. Topics discussed will include business planning, funding opportunities, support for self-employed parents, and business sustainability. Expert Michelle Brown will be joining to share valuable Marketing and Branding insights.

There will also be an exciting panel taking place with local business owners sharing their business journeys and any lessons they have learned along the way.

The event coincides with Business Gateway’s National ‘Start Up September’ campaign.

“Start Up September is the perfect time to host our ‘Simplifying the Business Start Up Process’ event and to raise awareness of the support for local residents considering self-employment.” Said Business Gateway West Lothian Team Leader, Linzi Winton. “We are looking forward to meeting the entrepreneurs and learning more about their businesses. This will be our fourth time hosting this, and it is always a highlight of our events calendar with great feedback from attendees.”
