Business to create 60 new jobs

A West Lothian business is undergoing a multi-million pound expansion while creating 60 new jobs.

Window and door manufacturer Window Supply Company (WSC) is relocating its headquarters and manufacturing operations from Livingston to the former Levi’s factory in Whitburn.

The company - currently based at Houstoun Industrial Estate - is investing £1.2million in new machinery that will increase its manufacturing capacity by 250 per cent.

The move will create around 60 new jobs in the area as WSC seeks to add additional window and door fabricators to support the expansion. The company has launched a major recruitment drive that will bring the total employee head count to over 200.

Duncan Murray CEO said: “Looking back at when we started less than three years ago, it’s incredible to think of the progress we have made, particularly as we have operated for two years under a global pandemic.

“To continue to expand and service our customers we need the infrastructure and technology in place to future-proof our journey.

“This multi-million pound investment represents our progress to date and will be used as a platform for our continued growth.”
