Funding Support Helps Award Winning Business Spring Solutions Create New Jobs in the Local Area
Established in 2016, Spring Solutions is an award-winning supply chain management expert specialising in the provision of hardware, chemicals, and consumables for the aerospace sector.
To support the growth of the Bathgate-based business, we provided funding through a Growth Assistance Project. This fund supports the development of West Lothian-based businesses by improving competitiveness and creating high-value jobs in a sustainable and inclusive way. With this funding, Spring Solutions were able to create 7 new jobs in the local area.
The management team also took part in our fully-funded CMI recognised Leadership Bootcamp, delivered by Jeff Lockhart from the St Andrews Management Centre, to ensure they were equipped to support the continued growth of the business.

The Invest in West Lothian team have extensive experience of preparing funding packages for local businesses of all sizes. Each month, we will highlight a new funding opportunity that is currently available to eligible businesses in the area.
Cyber Security Grant
With the worrying rise in cyber-attacks, it is essential that all businesses have strong cyber security measures in place.
Our Cyber Security Grant is available to help eligible West Lothian businesses improve their knowledge, understanding, and strategy towards handling cyber security and protecting valuable information.
With the grant, funding of up to £1000 is available to help local businesses achieve the National Cyber Security Centre endorsed Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. Having your certification is extremely beneficial, as it not only helps you protect your business from cyber-attacks, it also shows your clients that they can trust your business to keep their information safe.
