Job Description:
To provide support to the Building Services Unit for the delivery of electrical installations and maintenance services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assisting in the electrical installation and contract administration of building services projects, and legislative planned maintenance programmes, periodic and fixed wire testing of electrical installations.
Experience and Qualifications:
ATTAINMENTS/ EXPERIENCE
1.Educational
(e.g. qualifications, membership of professional bodies)
2.Occupational
(e.g. management experience)
Good working knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The Electricity Safety, Quality & Continuity Regulations 2002, any other relevant standards, codes of practice & Health and Safety Legislation.
Direct and demonstrable experience of domestic, commercial installations, Periodic Inspection, Testing and Maintenance. Assessed certificate for BS 7671 Inspection & Testing of electrical installations.
Approved Health and Safety Assessment(ECS)
SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to see technical work instructions through to their conclusions
Able to form good working relationships with other members of the project and maintenance team.
Hold current full Driving License Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to supervise and delegate
