Salary: Grade / Salary: B2: £38,422 to £43,934 rising to £39,767 to £45,472 with effect from 1 April 2026 plus £2,500 (pro-rated) per annum reviewable market supplement

Job Description:
This is a key and rewarding role within ILF Scotland, for qualified and registered Social Workers or Allied Health Professionals with experience of case work in a community-based setting, who is passionate about independent living and values-led practice. Follow link for full information.

Experience and Qualifications:
A degree-level qualification (SCQF Level 10 or equivalent) in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or a related subject, with relevant professional registration. Significant knowledge of the social model of disability and the principles of independent living. Up-to-date knowledge of health and social care legislation, policy and practice, including self-directed support and outcome-focused planning. An understanding of welfare rights, equality and diversity, and a commitment to inclusive practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in having sensitive and challenging conversations. The ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively as part of a team. Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Teams. Membership of the PVG scheme and commitment to Adult, Child and Public Protection principles and ongoing training. A valid UK driving licence is desirable.
