Job Description:
Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operational leadership of the residential home Provide high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people Lead, motivate, and support a team of Residential Child Care Workers Promote positive practice in line with Social Care Standards Oversee staff supervision, training needs, rotas, and staffing levels Work collaboratively with Senior Residential Child Care Workers to ensure smooth daily operations Contribute to organisational efficiency and continuous improvement across the service
Experience and Qualifications:
Holds SVQ3 or HNC in Children and Young People Is working towards (or willing to complete) SVQ4 in Leadership and Management Has several years’ experience in residential child care Is confident leading and supporting teams, especially in challenging situations Is passionate about delivering outstanding care and being a positive role model
