Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Managers in the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation. This role will involve working on the warehouse floor alongside the team, helping to coordinate activities across goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards are consistently met.
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior operative role. · Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and support a team. · Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control processes. · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. · Strong organisational and communication skills. · Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook). · Experience using warehouse or stock management systems. · Willingness to learn and develop into a more senior leadership role. · Forklift licence preferred but not essential. · Required to perform out of hours key holder responsibilities when needed.
