Job Description:
The Café Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day management of Jupiter Artland Café and it's adjoining takeaway outlets, delivering an exceptional visitor experience while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and high standards across all aspects of the business. Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Events Manager, the Café Manager will lead and develop the café team, oversee daily operations, manage stock and budgets, and ensure the café reflects Jupiter Artland's values of creativity, sustainability, quality, and outstanding hospitality. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive, organised individual who is passionate

Experience and Qualifications:
Essential Proven management experience within a fast paced hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour, and stock. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Sound knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, allergen management, and Health & Safety legislation. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and seasonal peak periods. Experience using EPOS systems, stock management software, and rota planning systems. Barista experience and knowledge of speciality coffee. Desirable Experience working within a visitor attraction, museum, gallery, or cultural venue. Personal Licence holder. First Aid qualification.
