Job Title: Care at Home Support Workers

Location: Bathgate Armadale and surrounding areas.

Hours / Days Of Work: Part-time (15 - 25hrs) / Full-Time (37.5 - 40 hrs)

Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time

Salary: £14.00 p/hr

Job Description:

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting

• Support individuals to maintain their independence and daily routines

• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks

• Provide medication prompts in line with individual care plans

• Offer safe moving and assisting in accordance with training and guidelines

• Provide emotional support and companionship

• Observe, record, and report any changes in clients’ wellbeing

• Build trusting, respectful relationships with the people you support

• A caring, compassionate, and reliable individual

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and independence

• Ability to work independently within the community

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training can be provided)

Experience and Qualifications 

Experience is helpful, SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it. If not experience, it is not essential as full training will be provided
