Job Title: Category Manager (Scotmid Co-operative)

Job Description:
Driving sales growth across assigned categories through effective range management and promotional planning - Growing profitability by improving category margins and identifying new commercial opportunities - Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to deliver competitive advantage and innovation through NPD - Analysing and interpreting complex data sets to inform trading decisions and shape category strategy - Developing, executing and delivering category strategies

Experience and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will have strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in category or product management. With a deep understanding of customer needs, you will use insights to keep the customer at the heart of every decision. We are looking for highly organised, proactive candidates, with a passion for great food products and a genuine enthusiasm for the Scottish food industry. You will be a skilled negotiator and excellent communicator and influencer, able to build productive relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be confident your excellent analytical skills being able to turn data into actionable insights.
