Experience and Qualifications:
Essential A1. Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7 (Advanced Higher / Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3, HNC) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role. Desirable B1 A Science-related qualification or background, or demonstrable understanding of the research environment. B2.A business administration qualification or relevant experience in an administrative or project support role. Experience Essential E1. Experience of working in a busy administrative, communications or events-support role, managing competing deadlines. E2. Experience supporting the organisation and delivery of meetings, workshops or events (in-person and/or online). E3. Experience of applying judgement, policies and procedures. E4. Experience working collaboratively within a team to support delivery of organisational or project objectives. Desirable F1. Experience working across sectors, such as academia, industry and/or the public sector. F2. Experience using university administrative systems and processes. F3. Experience supporting externally funded projects or working in a multi-project environment. F4. Knowledge of, or experience working in, the higher education, research or innovation sector.
