Job Description:
Join our Media & Communications team bringing one of the UK’s largest multi-sport events to life. The Communications Coordinator, will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Glasgow 2026’s communications strategy, helping to shape how the event is perceived by the public, media and stakeholders. Experience and Qualifications:
A degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or equivalent professional experience is essential. A passion for sport, community engagement, and experience supporting large-scale events or multi-agency communications will be advantageous. To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience working in a press office, communications team or event environment, and be familiar with media engagement and public relations strategies. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and the confidence to work effectively with media, stakeholders and internal teams.
