Job Title: Communications Officer (Wheatley Group)

Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dumfries & Galloway (home-based worker with travel requirements to Group offices).

Hours / Days Of Work: Monday to Friday (with some on-call work at weekends on a rota-basis)

Salary: (SCP 36-39) £46,036- £50,266 pro rata per annum

Experience and Qualifications:
Essential  Relevant experience and proven track record in communications, journalism or media  Experience in creating engaging digital content  Experience in writing for publications and or websites  Able to use social media as part of an overall communications strategy. Desirable  Experience in developing communications plans for staff, stakeholders or customers  High level inter-personal, presentational and influencing skills  Experience in delivering media services  Experience in delivering internal communications for a wide range of staff  Able to bring a creative and innovative approach to communications projects, including campaigns and photocalls  Good knowledge of local and national government  Track record in successfully delivering change. Qualifications Desirable  Educated to degree standard in an appropriate discipline or working towards such a qualification  Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or equivalent.
