Job Title:Domestic Assistant (SNIS)

Salary: Band 2 (£25,694 - £27,900) pro rata

Job Description:
Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.

Experience and Qualifications:
Conscientious Manner • Positive Attitude • Professional Approach • Neat and Tidy in Appearance • Warm and Caring Personality A good basic level of education is required. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. • Knowledge of the healthcare environment. Good level of general fitness • Good communication / customer service skills • Ability to work as part of a team • Basic awareness of the importance of Health & Safety and Infection Control. Training will be provided in all aspects of the Domestic role. • Experience in the use of industrial cleaning equipment
