Job Title: Garden Centre Assistant Manager (Caulders Gardens Centres)

Job Description:
Being the main point of contact in lieu of Manager
· Confidently, effectively, and efficiently dealing with issues; and knowing when to escalate them to the Manager
· Supporting colleagues training and development
· Assisting with staff rotas
· Working alongside colleagues in the Garden Centre and Gift Shop to provide a great customer experience
· Collaborating with the senior leadership team to ensure continuous improvement
· Occasional travel to Head Office or other Centres
Experience and Qualifications:
Ideally you should have previous retail experience
· Ideally you’ll have a base level knowledge of some aspects of horticulture
· Experience in, or ready to move into, a supervisory role
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A flexible approach to work, including weekend availability to meet seasonal demands
· Ideally your own transport, as there are limited public transport links to our Linlithgow centre
