Job Description:
We are looking for a fully qualified Gas Supervisor to join our operational team based throughout Scotland, as well as being a vital member of our group compliance team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the day-to-day management of our gas compliance ser-vice delivery across Scotland whilst supporting our team of Gas Engineers with trouble-shooting, repairing, and maintaining gas related installations and heating systems in residential and commercial settings. A strong focus on customer service and problem-solving is essential.
Experience and Qualifications:
Fully qualified time served heating & plumbing apprenticeship
Thorough working knowledge of the current Gas, LPG & Oil regulations
Self-motivated with good organisational skills
Committed to providing Quality Workmanship
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Full driving license
A minimum of 3 year’s industry experience preferably within a managerial/supervisory role
Strong at problem solving with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills verbally and written.
Computer literate, proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and email (Microsoft word, excel and outlook).
Strong organisational skills.
Able to meet tight deadlines. Effective in performing well under pressure.
An appreciation of data protection and confidentiality
Versatile and committed.
Professional attitude.
Understanding of the construction industry, preferably within the Social Housing sector.
Experience of effectively dealing with senior external stakeholders at all levels.
Experience of working in multiple refurbishment project settings/projects.
Membership of Professional Body.
In-depth understanding of health, safety & environmental legislation.
Able to assess emergency procedures and contingency plans for managing the response to emergency incidents.
Customer care skills.
Proven experience of managing/supervising contractors and engineers.
Outstanding legislative and legal knowledge of the Gas, LPG, Oil Industry.
Able to work on own initiative.
Excellent team working skills.
Persistent and determined.
A good understanding of Asbestos and the CAR 2012 Regulations.
