Job Description:
We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead The Railbridge, a much-loved neighbourhood bar & bistro with a strong local following and a reputation for warm hospitality, quality food and drink, and genuine community spirit. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for the performance, culture and future growth of the business. You’ll have autonomy to run the site as your own, backed by an experienced and supportive senior team.

Experience and Qualifications:
You’ll ideally have: Proven experience as a General Manager (or a very strong Deputy ready to step up) in a high-volume bar or bar-restaurant Strong commercial awareness with a solid grasp of labour %, GP control and margins A natural leadership style — motivating, approachable and decisive Passion for hospitality, food & drink, and creating memorable guest experiences Excellent organisational and planning skills High standards and a strong eye for detail Confidence with IT systems and MS Office A genuine interest in building a brand through social media and local marketing Energy, resilience, positivity — and a sense of fun
