Job Description:
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or soon to be graduate who is looking to start their career in quantity surveying within a leading construction business. You’ll gain hands on experience across live building projects, working alongside experienced commercial professionals who will support your development and help you build a strong foundation for a successful long term career.

Experience and Qualifications:
A degree (or expected degree) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a construction related discipline A genuine interest in building a career as a Quantity Surveyor Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word Clear communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders A proactive, organised and eager to learn approach The ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Criteria The following would be beneficial but not essential: Previous industry experience through a placement year, internship or work experience An understanding of construction processes and procurement routes Experience using commercial or estimating software A desire to work towards RICS or a similar professional qualification An interest in cost optimisation, sustainability or modern construction practices
