Job Description:
The Head of Civil Engineering is responsible for the growth and technical delivery of Civil Engineering activities within the Infrastructure Division (Telecoms). Driving sales growth and technical expertise to develop our offering, providing leading quality service that achieves our financial targets. The role holder will ensure the competence of the Engineering resource and will lead the development of the career pathway and competence framework with HR for the function. Working collaboratively with the Directors, Operations and Contract & Project Managers across the division to ensure the provision of Civil Engineering resource supports (in sourced or outsourced) the delivery of their P&L targets

Experience and Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience with a strong track record of success Member of the Institute of Civil Engineering (desired) IEng/CEng accreditation (desired) Experienced in the delivery of Civil Engineering projects (Telecoms). Knowledge of CDM regulations and duties. Knowledge of industry best practice in the technical discipline. Strong Safety performance background. Sound understanding of the application of Civil Engineering in the Infrastructure sectors (Telecoms).
