Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver - Driver Hire

Salary: £14.50–£16.25 per hour

Job Description:
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries. General haulage and pallet network work. A-to-B vehicle movements. Deliveries of steel, office furniture, food and drink, and construction materials. Loading and unloading duties where required. Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork. Following transport regulations, compliance procedures and health and safety requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. At least 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience. No more than 6 penalty points – minor offences only. No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements. Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation. Reliable, punctual and professional attitude. Flexibility to work across different assignments. Good communication and customer service skills.
