Job Description:
We’re seeking a Justice Worker to join a new Scottish Government-funded Bail Support pilot programme. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and deliver a new service that aims to improve outcomes for people involved in the justice system while contributing to safe and stronger communities across Scotland. Working with people assessed by Justice Social Work as suitable for supervised bail, but who have instead been granted bail without supervision, you will provide practical, person-centred support to help them understand and comply with their bail conditions. Experience and Qualifications:
A valid driving license and access to a car are essential for this post Experience of supporting people who have a history of offending behaviour and/or substance misuse Proven ability to build and maintain effective multi-agency partnerships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing demands. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel as required.
