Job Description:
The post holder will be part of a team undertaking grass cutting and hedge cutting within the
Garden Maintenance Service.
The role involves working as part of a small team delivering grass and hedge cutting
services for council tenants who are unable to maintain their own gardens. This will include
working in various weather conditions and using associated tools and equipment to deliver a
high-quality service.
Job Scope
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience of using powered tools such as strimmers, grass cutting machinery, and hedge
trimmers.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to operate small mechanical equipment safely.
Understanding of basic health and safety requirements within a grounds maintenance
environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
Full UK driving licence.
PA1 and PA6 certification for the safe application of herbicides.
Previous experience in grounds maintenance
