Job Description:
Wee Gems Nursery in Livingston is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our early years setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding for all children. The Nursery Manager will lead and support the staff team, maintain regulatory compliance, and create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Experience and Qualifications:
SVQ Level 4 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification.
Registration (or eligibility to register) with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Proven experience in an early years leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and early years legislation.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
