Job Description:
We are looking for two kind, patient and enthusiastic Personal Assistants to join a small support team caring for a fun-loving 6-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair.
Playing games and taking part in fun, age-appropriate activities.
Supporting communication and encouraging independence.
Providing assistance with personal care.
Assisting with moving, handling and transfers.
Supporting outings and activities within the local community.
Creating a safe, positive and enjoyable environment
Experience and Qualifications:
Kind, caring, patient and understanding.
Fun-loving, enthusiastic and happy to get involved in play.
Reliable, punctual and dependable.
Respectful of the child's individual needs and preferences.
Comfortable providing personal care and moving and handling support.
Able to work positively alongside another Personal Assistant
