Job Description:
The Registered Manager is responsible for the safe, high-quality, and person-centred operation of the service, ensuring full compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations. You will provide visible leadership, operational oversight, and strategic management to foster positive outcomes for service users and staff, while supporting business growth and the development of our services.
The post-holder must be registered with the Care Inspectorate as a manager for this service and maintain registration throughout employment.
Experience and Qualifications:
Registered Manager with SSSC: Must be registered or eligible to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Manager of a care service and maintain registration throughout employment.
Practice Qualification: Recognised social care qualification (e.g., SVQ Social Services and Healthcare) appropriate for the service type.
Management Qualification: Any award in management at SCQF Level 9 or above (minimum 60 credits) mapped to the National Occupational Standards for care leadership (SVQ Care Services Leadership & Management SCQF Level 10).
PVG Membership: Must hold a valid Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership or be eligible to join prior to commencing employment.
