Job Description:
The Senior Cleaner works under the direction of the Resource Team to lead and develop the team of cleaning staff to deliver a quality service to all customers. Co-ordinate resources to meet the cleaning needs of the venue and its users and to ensure that the cleaning service is operating efficiently and effectively. The post involves supervision of a team of permanent, fixed term and casual staff as required. The working environment will be extremely busy with varying demands on time.
Experience and Qualifications:
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge Essential Experience in the cleaning industry Ability to organise and prioritise a workload and the work of other staff Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and working practice Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people and working effectively with customers within unit Experience of working to a timescales Understanding of strict confidentiality westlothian.gov.uk 11 Desirable Training Qualification on Cleaning and ability to pass the knowledge on to all Staff. Other Essential Information Willingness to work a flexible work pattern including evenings and weekends. Enhanced disclosure required.
