Job Description:
The Senior Cleaner works within the context of relevant Health and Safety and other legislation, Council and FM Services policies to ensure the provision of a safe, efficient and effective cleaning service. Effective supervision of cleaning staff, ensuring that all employees are fully inducted and trained in the use of cleaning materials and products. Organise cleaners to ensure that there is adequate cover for annual leave and sickness absence. Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with agreed specification. Experience and Qualifications:
Experience in the cleaning industry Ability to organise and prioritise a workload and the work of other staff Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and working practice Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people and working effectively with customers within unit Experience of working to a timescales Understanding of strict confidentiality
