Job Description:
Provide high-quality care and support that respects residents’ individual rights, dignity, and choices. Act as a key worker for designated residents, conducting pre-admission visits and preparing, monitoring, and updating care plans. Deliver direct personal care in line with agreed care plans. Record daily observations and significant events, Participate in shift handovers, reviews, and assessments.
Experience and Qualifications:
S.V.Q. Level 3 in Social Care, or willingness to work towards and complete within SSSC timelines. An understanding of the specific needs of older people. It is expected that Social Care Workers should gain competence having regard to National Occupational Standards. Scottish Vocational Qualifications will be used as the foundation towards gaining specific standards of competence in social care.
