Job Description:
You will be offering care and support to one adult with learning disabilities to ensure the running of their home, health and wellbeing. This will include personal care, medication administration, housework, shopping, cooking and most importantly maintaining and developing each person’s independent skills. Social support will be given to each person daily and weekly to ensure involvement and independence within their community.

Experience and Qualifications:
✔ Demonstrable track record of working with people with learning disabilities in a supported living and enabling environment. ✔ Commitment to the principles of community care. ✔ Understanding of development needs of adults with a learning disability (social, personal, physical, occupational and leisure) ✔ Understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, including learning disabilities, multiple disabilities and complex needs
