Job Description:
As Technical Administrator, you’ll support the Technical and Quality teams by managing documentation, coordinating audits, and maintaining systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. Maintain and update technical documentation and records (e.g. specifications, certificates, audits). Support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions. Assist with traceability and product recall procedures. Manage supplier approval documentation and ensure compliance. Monitor and report on non-conformances and corrective actions. Maintain databases and systems for quality and compliance tracking. Liaise with production, quality, and technical teams to ensure smooth communication. Support the implementation of food safety and quality standards (e.g. BRC, HACCP). Collate and submit customer documentation and questionnaires. Provide general administrative support to the Technical department.
Experience and Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with: Previous experience in a technical or quality admin role (ideally in food manufacturing). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. Understanding of food safety standards and technical terminology.
