Job Description:
You'll work closely with our existing management team, gaining hands-on experience of managing a care at home service across Falkirk . We'll support you through a structured training programme, practical experience and competency assessments to help you build the knowledge and confidence needed to progress into the Service Manager role.
What will you be doing?
As a Trainee Service Manager, you'll be involved in the day-to-day running of our care at home service, gradually taking on more responsibility as your experience and confidence develop.
Experience and Qualifications:
ou must have at least two years' experience working as a Care Coordinator or Care Supervisor.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience in care at home and are confident managing the challenges that come with coordinating care and supporting a team.
We're looking for someone who:
Has a good understanding of care delivery, staff scheduling and the importance of providing consistent, high-quality care.
Is organised, approachable and confident communicating with staff, service users and families.
Can think on their feet, solve problems and remain calm when things don't go to plan.
Takes responsibility for their work and follows things through.
Understands the importance of safeguarding, person-centred care and maintaining high standards.
Is comfortable using care management systems and keeping accurate records.
Is open to feedback, keen to learn and genuinely interested in progressing into management.
Can travel throughout Falkirk to visit services and support staff.
