Job Description:
Manage daily warehouse operations in line with company procedures. • Work hands-on with the team across receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch. • Open and close the warehouse as a designated key holder, following security procedures. • Ensure the warehouse, stock, and equipment are secure at all times, including alarm setting. • Carry out start-of-day and end-of-day security and safety checks. • Maintain efficient warehouse layout and space utilisation.
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Supervisor. • Hands-on approach with strong leadership skills. • Proven understanding of warehouse operations and stock control. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook.) • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Confident managing staff and day-to-day operational issues. • Experience using warehouse or stock management systems. • Knowledge of a warehouse automation system would be advantageous but not essential. • Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
