Job Title: Weekend Cafe/Cook Supervisor

Job Description: Are you passionate about good food and community spirit? We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic cook to join our small team at our welcoming community café on weekends. What you’ll do:

• Prepare and cook a simple, affordable menu (breakfasts, light lunches, baked goods)

• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly

• Occasionally help with planning menus or specials

• Work alongside front-of-house staff and volunteers in a friendly environment

• Open and close venue

Experience and Qualifications: We’re looking for someone who:  

• Has experience in  ooking for groups (café, restaurant, or community setting)

• Can work independently and take initiative

• Understands food hygiene and kitchen safety

• Enjoys working with people and being part of a local community

• Food hygiene certification is a plus, but training can be provided if needed.
