Job Title: Youth Coordinator (Fair Trade Youth Collective) - Scottish Fair Trade

Salary: 28,590 (SJC point 17), pro rata £17,154 per year

Job Description:
This is a hands Fair Trade Youth Collective on, creative and relational role. You’ll work with young people (aged 16 to: build confidence and skills design and deliver campaigns on Fair Trade, climate justice and social equity connect local action with global issues 24) You’ll support young people to move from participants to leaders, helping them shape campaigns, create content and influence change in their communities.

Experience and Qualifications:
Essential • • • • • Experience working with young people (youth work, education, community or similar) Strong facilitation skills (groups and 1:1) Ability to build trust and supportive relationships Experience supporting participation, leadership or co creation Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Understanding of inclusion and barriers facing young people Commitment to Fair Trade, social justice or related issues Desirable Experience of campaigning, communications or creative projects Knowledge of Fair Trade, climate justice or global citizenship Experience working with underrepresented or marginalised groups Experience of partnership working Understanding of safeguarding practice
