As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, plus electrical installations and PAT testing. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenance

The ability to carry out all types of joinery building maintenance and refurbishment work Installation of kitchens Installation of windows and doors Full working knowledge of wood working machines including cross cut, wall saw and Planer The ability to follow a works instruction Ensure a high standard of customer care Ensure timeous completion of Building Services documentation Operate and take care of tools and equipment Ensure all relevant health and safety documentation such as risk assessments and the safe system of work for the tasks being undertaken are upheld The ability to work outdoors and at height The ability to forward plan through communication with either other craft operatives, Team Co-ordinator or the workload planner Attend any training requirements that the individual of organisation has identified as part of our continues improvement of the service area Assist with any other tasks that may arise to ensure the smooth delivery of services to our customers

The overall purpose of the role is to deliver electrical installation works including testing & pre-commissioning activities within the major projects business.  As an Electrician, you will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.

We are interested in recruiting experienced Fibre Splicers with all aspects of fibre installation and telecom network builds including Fibre To The Property (FTTP) Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) and overhead installation.
