Lead Civils Design Engineer

Provide management support on projects across the business, in the design and optioneering phases, to develop initial client concept designs or requirements into workable solutions. Liaise with internal and external clients to identify their exact requirements. Attend site-based surveys to understand the needs of a given project, including meeting client representatives as well as gathering information and data to inform the optimum design solution. Prepare Civil \/ Structural design calculations as applicable. Carry out Civil \/ Structural surveys to identify and advise on any potential issues. Work with minimal supervision, you will be able to manage your own projects from design through to completion. Supervise the production of design drawings by the CAD \/ BIM team in line with the project programme. Have strong communication skills and be personable to complement the friendly working environment. Deliver technical quality and excellence of project deliverables. Adhere to CDM Regulations 2015, including carrying out Design Risk Assessments. Attend and support our site teams during the Construction Phase, with TQ’s, advice and problem solving.
