Salary: £15 per hour

Job Description:
This position is ideal for someone who would like to give back to the community. The Facilities/Maintenance Co-ordinator ensures the health, safety and security of the building and its contents at all times. This is a physical role, leading and supporting a small team of janitors and volunteers with basic maintenance, decorating, set up of equipment and the monitoring of environmental controls.  Planning the maintenance schedule of reactive and preventative maintenance work for the Hub and the annex building.  Planning the cleaning schedule, monitor effectiveness and workloads and undertake cleaning when janitors are on leave.  Sourcing relevant trades as required for repairs and maintenance and managing third party trades persons.  Assist with risk assessments and emergency audits.  Overseeing work from other contractors on site.  Ensuring adequate and maintained site security, including alarms and CCTV.
