Purpose of the job Responsible for assisting the Cook Supervisor inn providing an efficient and effective on-site catering service. Duties will include the preparation of food, baking, serving of food, counter set up, keeping to hygiene standards, compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety Legislation Job Scope Working in FM Services providing a catering Service throughout the West Lothian area in the likes of schools, adult day care and housing with care units. Principal Accountabilities/Key Tasks Assist in co-ordinating tasks such as food preparation, serving and clearing of food, set up and clearing of dining areas. Ensure meals and prepare for being transported where required. Ensure meals are prepared safely and accommodate diners’ dietary needs. Cooking of meals and takeaway foods / baking / desserts. Use of electrical equipment in line with health and safety and working practices. Check Deliveries. Manage Stock and requirements. Understanding + awareness of allergens
