Maintenance Supervisor

Are you passionate about facilities management and making a difference within the criminal justice system? At HMP Addiewell, you’ll lead a team of skilled engineers to maintain a safe, compliant, and well-presented environment. You’ll balance both reactive and proactive maintenance, using the CAFM system (Global Maximo) to organize and track work requests. From coordinating daily tasks, managing contractors, to supporting emergency callouts—you’ll keep everything running smoothly. Working closely with FM managers and site heads, you’ll foster strong relationships to minimize disruption and ensure operational excellence. What You\'ll Do: Lead & Inspire: Manage a skilled team of electrical, mechanical, and building services engineers. Plan & Comply: Drive proactive maintenance schedules and uphold health and safety standards. Coordinate Workflows: Allocate tasks efficiently, oversee reactive maintenance, and manage emergency callouts. Manage Contractors: Supervise visiting contractors and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Champion Safety: Promote Sodexo’s safety culture, handle risk assessments, and respond swiftly to incidents. Drive Improvement: Use CAFM tools to enhance service delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Schools & Community Fundraising Manager

St Andrew’s Hospice is looking for an inspiring and results-driven Schools and Community Fundraising Manager to join our Schools and Community Fundraising Team. You will: Be the face of St Andrew’s Hospice within the Schools and Community Fundraising sector and be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with new and existing Schools, Challenge events and Community Fundraising supporters. Be responsible for working as part of the Senior Fundraising Leadership team to meet the organisation’s income targets. Work with the Schools and Community Team to organise and develop all allocated schools, challenge events, and third party business fundraising activity, and manage these within agreed levels of expenditure. Have line management responsibility for the Schools and Community Team and volunteers. Develop and nurture relationships with schools, event sponsors, participants and third party supporters, to encourage support for St Andrew’s Hospice. Represent the Hospice at fundraising events, deliver impactful presentations, and ensure donor stewardship is handled with care, adhering to best practices and Fundraising Regulation guidelines. Support the work of the wider Fundraising department with other fundraising duties or initiatives as required.

Community Wellbeing Collective (CWC) The Community Wellbeing Collective (CWC) are a multi-cultural inter-generational working class socially engaged art collective, made up of over 30 members. We are a collective that believe Wellbeing is Political, and work to bring people together to discuss and address the many things that affect our wellbeing. Together we run our own space, including a full program of activities, alongside our external partners. We tackle big themes that affect our wellbeing such as housing, disability, suicide, racism, policing, healthcare and many more. Aiming to remove barriers to better wellbeing, bring people together, strengthen community and action change. We are a charity that runs similar to a cooperative, we work together to create the change we want to see and we try our best to raise funds to pay for all the work we do. Together we hope to create a new kind of structure, one that allows everyone locally and beyond to get involved in ways they can. It requires work with other CWC leads, members and board to steer and shape what is core to CWC, and to imagine what is possible, to create local and societal change and to sustain the CWC.
