The Graduate Process Engineer will join the Engineering and Projects (E&P) team at Celtic Renewables Limited (CRL). The successful applicant will gain first-hand experience at the Celtic Renewables Grangemouth (CRG) plant learning about the ABE process and the different types of technology deployed in the exemplar plant. Working closely with the site operations team the Graduate Process Engineer will have the opportunity to assist with the optimisation of the CRG plant. The Graduate Process Engineer role will be at the forefront of the design, development and commissioning of new ABE fermentation plants. You will work closely with the E&P team throughout the full project development process to ensure successful and timely delivery of project plans. You will be primarily based between the Edinburgh office and the Grangemouth Facility. You will be required to visit potential development and partner sites as necessary. Key responsibilities of Jr Software Developer: You’ll be responsible for writing Java, XSLT and using our in-house tools to produce Android applications. You don’t need any previous experience other than a strong Computing Science or Software Engineering degree as you’ll be trained by experienced staff throughout the role and work alongside our highly skilled team. While a large part of the Jr Software Developer role is development work, the role is designed as a graduate position where you’ll be exposed to the full life cycle of a project, including requirements capture, design, implementation and testing. This involves producing schedules and specifications to allow control panels to be designed, and the control rooms to be laid out. They produce size cables and schedules, and then develop ducting networks to allow the cables to be distributed. They also develop control philosophies to define how a plant will operate, and work closely with the national power grids to arrange for new or upgraded supplies. The role of the Project Manager is dynamic and stimulating. As a Graduate Project Manager, you will assist other members of the Project Management team to drive projects forward and ensure that our clients achieve the built assets that their business function requires. This involves working at all stages of the project from initial concept right through to construction and operation of the building. To carry out housekeeping duties in line with Cleaning Schedules and other documents as required (including cleaning of equipment, floors, bins and benches when required) 4. To prepare samples for incubation as per your trained areas. 5. To assist in the preparation of microbiological culture media and record the necessary Quality Control and Performance checks. 6. To carry out all washroom duties as required being mindful of the glassware requirements. 7. To dispose of all laboratory waste in accordance with procedures. 8.
