The Tree & Woodland Operative is a member of a small specialist team responsible for carrying out a full range of tree and woodland duties resulting in a well maintained and managed tree and woodland stock for the council. The work is of a varied nature and includes climbing arboriculture work on specimen trees to work in productive forestry areas owned by the council. A sound knowledge of current best practice in arboriculture, woodland \/ forestry management practices and the ability to maintain and service small plant such as chainsaws is essential.
