Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, quality & environmental policies and procedures for rail, highways, and civil engineering projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental regulations, keeping up to date with industry standards. Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify hazards and implement control measures. Support the delivery of health, safety, quality & environmental training for employees and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, near misses, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Provide guidance and support to site teams and management, ensuring best practices are followed. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance workplace safety and compliance. Ensue training is up to date & meets current requirements. Conduct audits with external bodies ensuring policies & certification are in compliance with regulations.
