Cafe Team Member

You will be responsible for Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Tesco as a business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures: Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy. Housekeeping Assistant (weekends)

Orocco Pier is boutique hotel with 17 bedrooms, cafe bar, restaurant and events venue all set in pretty waterfront town of South Queensferry . We are located 10 miles from Edinburgh city centre so this role is best suited to candidates who live can travel easily by public transport or who can drive. We are seeking a team player with a mature outlook on life. The majority of our housekeepers days are spent in the hotel servicing our bespoke bedrooms, however additional cleaning associated with our restaurant and bar areas will also be required. Shifts are generally during the day, and our ideal candidate will be flexible enough to start at 8am on some shifts. Finish times are generally no later then 3pm . However if this isn\'t an option due to childcare , please do still apply as we can be flexible. We do require some weekend availability also We are looking for someone to be available at least one day at the weekend but preferably Saturday and Sunday .

Hospitality Host (30 & 37.5 hours per week available)

Principal Accountabilities include: Provide a meet and greet service to users of the Lounges, dealing courteously and efficiently to ensure a world class level of customer service Ensure Lounge facilities are maintained to a high standard and consistently presented in line with the Standards of Operations, carrying out the required Daily, Weekly and Monthly standards check Ensure accurate records are maintained of all Lounge customers including consolidators, direct bookings and airline customers. Maintain a database of all bookings. Update and suggest improvements to the computer records to encompass new and extended business Take monies (credit\/debit cards and cash) for direct bookings either by telephone or on the day of travel and reconcile all monies taken. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Assist with clearing and organising the lounge ensuring a high standard of hygiene in the preparation, service and guest areas. Maintain stock levels, date and rotation and replenish food and beverage buffet service in the lounge. To dispose of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location. Perform ‘back of house’ duties when catering staff members are not present or are busy. Back of house include but are not limited to, restocking of food & beverages in the lounges, clearing tables, loading\/unloading the dishwasher, rotating stock, and keeping the kitchen and lounges clean and tidy To work flexibly to the rota, typically shifts are confirmed at least two weeks in advance.
