FULLY QUALIFIED, TIME SERVED PAINTER - We are looking to recruit painters to undertake works on recently awarded responsive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. All contracts are in the early stages of long term agreements with job security guaranteed for the right candidate. The works are mainly based in the central belt region. Applicants must be comfortable working in domestic properties and must possess good communication skills in order to liaise with tenants, other tradesmen and planning team.

Lead Civils Design Engineer

Provide management support on projects across the business, in the design and optioneering phases, to develop initial client concept designs or requirements into workable solutions. Liaise with internal and external clients to identify their exact requirements. Attend site-based surveys to understand the needs of a given project, including meeting client representatives as well as gathering information and data to inform the optimum design solution. Prepare Civil \/ Structural design calculations as applicable. Carry out Civil \/ Structural surveys to identify and advise on any potential issues. Work with minimal supervision, you will be able to manage your own projects from design through to completion. Supervise the production of design drawings by the CAD \/ BIM team in line with the project programme. Have strong communication skills and be personable to complement the friendly working environment. Deliver technical quality and excellence of project deliverables. Adhere to CDM Regulations 2015, including carrying out Design Risk Assessments. Attend and support our site teams during the Construction Phase, with TQ’s, advice and problem solving.

Due to a new contract win of kitchens with a new customer we are seeking an Electrician to join our team in Aberdeen. The main duties will include inspection and testing, consuming changes, wiring new sockets on face plate changes and fitting 3 kitchens per week. This will take place within our tenanted properties across Angus and Dundee. To carry out a range of electrical work to our clients housing stock to ensure that electrical Installations which are worked on are safe for continued use to safeguard the service users, members of the public, clients’ personnel and Mears employees from any potential danger associated with electricity.
